When most people think ‘modular swimming pools’ they envisage the above ground pools that adorn many Australian backyards, while there isn’t anything wrong with these pools for the domestic market, Public and Commercial facilities need something much stronger.

Taking the modular pool concept to the commercial pool industry required more robust and durable materials and some new ideas to ensure the pool structure and water quality would stand up the demands of the commercial swimming environment. We are the Australian partner of Natare Corporation, which began using stainless steel to renovate and repair ageing concrete pool structures in America, but soon saw the potential of the quality steel they were using to create pre-engineered modular pool systems, solving a lot of the problems associated with concrete construction.

The success of projects like Marina Bay Sands and The QEII Recreation Centre have established Natare as one of the global leaders in the stainless steel pool market. Their products are designed to eliminate a host of problems that can occur with traditional concrete pool structures and allow for some really creative thinking when it comes to design and finish of pools in Apartments, Hotels and Aquatic Centres.

Speed and simplicity of construction is a contributing factor for the success of modular pool systems, Sections are engineered and partially constructed in Natare’s Indianapolis factory and shipped to destinations across the globe where they are welded together to create one complete structure. Pools can be left with an impressive stainless finish, lined with a PVC liner, or tile depending on the project and client’s preference.

Benefits of Stainless-Steel Modular Pools Include:

  • Permanent Watertight Construction

  • Rapid installation saves valuable time in construction

  • Suitable for in-ground, on-ground & elevated construction

  • Superior tile adhesion than to concrete structures

  • Made from 100% recycled stainless steel

  • Extensive warranty, 25-years or more

  • Reduced weight of pool structure

  • Eliminated the need for buried perimeter pipework

  • Ability to create unique shapes and structures

The advantages of stainless steel are enormous and give developers, architects and builders an option to set their next project apart with faster, lighter and more creative construction that will be strong and beautiful.
